Seriously, I am getting about 26-28 with the Tdi and it only has 300 miles on it. I can't wait till I break it in and get some better gas mileage

I drive my DD about 160 miles a day (Luckily the D is not my daily driver) and gas is KILLING me.

On that note, it's supposed to be nice tomorrow and I'm driving the D. It's about time the top came off for the season. That means I could get 14 mpg with the reduced weight.

do you drive a Defender 300 miles a day . I used to do 130 miles a day in my d90 300tdi but 300 a day takes a pretty tough guy .

The Wife is driving 80mi/day so I got her a Mini-S (plus, She's been wanting one since they came out). That thing is a blast to drive! She averages about 34mpg.

My DD is a Nissan Altima. My lord, I could not handle the Defender for that! Mine is not exactly legal anyway so I would be asking for trouble. I don't even think I could handle the 130.
