That is pretty badass! I could use those tank tracks here in the midwest.

That is totally awesome can you imagine pulling up in front of a country club and handing the keys to the valet. All the mall crawlers would faint out of their range rovers

Especially if you were pulling that ice pontoon. To the valet, "Can you leave this up front? I don't plan to be too long."

I contacted mattracks a number of years back, they were looking for about $13,000 for their top-o-the line track set.

Doesn't it look like that boat was being powered by the Land Rover 110? Does the 110 have a PTO out the back?

I think you had to disconnect the rear drive shaft and hook it up to the pontoon. Wasnt there an article about those a while back in some magazine or something?

Fella around here has those tracks on a late 90's full size Chevy truck, not worth much in mud he found out. He broke two of the braces that keep the tracks level on the ground, without the braces the tracks flopped upside down and crushed his fenderwells. Another fella here has the on his Yamaha Grizzly ATV and that will go anywhere. I saw a video somewhere either on you tube or break where a ella put the tracks on a Subaru Justy. Tracks are just plain cool.

Couple of guys that have houses on the backside of Aspen mountain have those and it's pretty amazing to watch them chew down the hill (we're going up on snowmobiles). One guy then drives it onto his trailer, attached to his King Ranch 350 dually. Lots of hardware to get in and out of a house in the hills.

They are more like $20k, IIRC.

It looks like they are towing the boat with a strap??? What happens when they go down a hill??

dont think the catamaran is powered by the rover- if you click the little screen icon on the bottom right of the player and get it full screen it looks like there are only ratchet straps holding the rover to the boat. Cool way to get around but if you are prone to breaking stuff like I am.......
