110 Duramax/Allison with custom D cowl hood fab'r link...

Well, I saw this in a magazine called "Diesel Builder's Guide", which apparently is a every-other-month publication of Diesel World magazine. This issue has a 70's/80's-ish Ford Pickup with red side panels on the cover...

Article says they stretched the body to fit a 5.9L Cummins, but ended up going with a 6.6L Duramax. The D cowl hood may be 100% one-off, but the shop that made it is said to have been "Tomb Enterprises", which only seems to Google up as a mere email contact page. Not clear from the pics as to whether it's based on a Puma hood, the earlier hood, or neither.

Other than that, I liked the seats that they used. Hopefully DW wil put it on their website at some point? Otherwise, see it at the newstand in your neighborhood Walmart - Everyday Low Prices!

The 5.9 Cummins diesel swap is gaining a little traction in the UK thanks to this guy: https://www.facebook.com/reece.myers.14?fref=ufi&rc=p

I'm planning a 5.9 transplant into the Perentie DC. Will post pictures and updates along the way. Wrapping up a '71 GMC K30 DC now with a 5.9-nv4500 combo, Perentie up next.

I want someone to swap the new Cummins 5.0L from the new Nissan Titan pickup into a Defender. Back it up by an Allison transmission... good to go

"The all-new Cummins 5.0-liter V8 Turbo Diesel engine is the driving force behind Nissanís TITAN XD. Generating 310 horsepower with 555 pound-feet of torque, this revolutionary 32-valve engine produces enough power to tackle nearly any job. "
