Pendy, I'm not sure how better to say this, but the girth of the male end appears too wide to fit into a standard female connector. Maybe I just need a looser female end . . . (Merv?)

John, Actually, thanks for that, it may have been just enough to get me away from the alloys. After living with them for a few weeks, I'm just not happy with them: the fit, the "look" and the backspacing are all not quite where I'd like them to be. I may see what GCR has anymore. Anyone know what the backspacing is on Natos? For anyone interested, I may well have a set of 5 castor alloys, 4 of which have 235/85s and a set of 5 8 spokes for sale.

Jamie, as ever, Thank You! Huge help!

Tony, you are welcome to try my deep dish alloys for size before making another purchase you may regret. Other than being painted black, they should give you an idea of what to expect.

Charles, didn't you need to clearance them to fit on the front hubs?

Roversnorth has the switch in stock for $20, EE was $30 and AB doesn't carry (them in case anybody's looking for one).

They will need adjusting for my use, but I didn't think they would need any more that whatever you already did to fit the ones you have on right now. In other words if yours fit, these should too. But in my case I plan to remove a little bit of the inside of the alloy, and not remove the hub nut washer.

If I have to take a picture of the connector on it, I'm starting a tab for you.

I never remember which is backspacing and which is offset. I did a quick measurement and both these and a tornado are 5.5' from the mounting surface to the inside edge of the rim if that helps. So same backspacing as a stock D90 wheel..
