Bonetti gray. Monza fades out worse than most reds so unless it is garaged constantly (what fun is that!) it will need a respray every 5 years. Willow is too army looking.

Bonetti looks really nice on a 110.

Well the color consideration should be made with the issue of the roof color. Since it is a 110, traditionally the roof is white. I'm not sold on metallic ingredient colors with a white top. And a pearl white top would look stupid on a LR IMO.
Since the wild colors are out (you will regret it!~) , and zebra stays in the zoo, I am forced to suggest the series colors. In any case a creamy tone always looks good on LR.s

An industrial light to med gray might be good? What color are the seats?

BTW, anyone have pics of killer zebra patterns on LRs?

Well, since no one has suggested so far ... I rather like the colour I got on my 110 : Epsom Green Metallic. It is a very dark green, can look black in low light. It is a very nice colour, almost an updated bronze green for Defenders. It is civilian but gives the 110 a very purposeful look. I like Bonatti but you see it too much these days. I like Willow and Woodcote greens too, but again you see that on 90s, and the Epsom Green would be unusual for a US truck ... but not with a white roof. It is best to do the whole truck ...

Cheers,
John

I did my previous 110 AA yellow, cool until every other H2 and Jeep turned yellow also........

I just did my d90 in the "new" LR white.....Chawton White....not to much different than the Alpine white but a little creamier.......white always looks good with some black on the truck like defenders have.......

Along these lines, what TYPE of paint would you all recommend. Please keep in mind, I dont know anything about paint, but when talking to a guy today, he said there are roughly 4 basic types of paint. I am looking for something that looks good and is very durable. Suggestions?

Heck yeah! That's a classic color. I'd love a Bianchi frame set up fixed gear and my Rover painted to match.

For now, I'll just have to make do with what I've got:

(That's a Trek Project One Fuel EX 9.8, black carbon pearl with yellow flames and red tips)

IMO, the same silver used on BMW's look pretty sweet on big defenders like 110's. The one that comes to mind is the Fly Fisher 110 biult by Rover Accessories in Torrance, CA. http://www.roveraccessories.com/customvehicles1.htm

Haven't made a choice yet, other than it will have have a white roof (I don't like the full color thing). We are doing a 100% Black 110 right now and it is just too much color.
Not yellow or orange as it has been done.
Not silver as that has been done too.
Right now it seems to be between the Willow Green and the Bon. Grey, but nothing is set in stone.
Still waiting to be inspired.
