That is pretty cool. It's amazing to me the amount of "stick" the tires have as he starts to back up - it looks like a fairly smooth surface.

Now, a 90 would have just kept going over the other side. That 110 probably just got skeered.

does he really need to engage reverse gear? I think that the angle and gravity would have done the trick. definitely cool video. not sure that I would have the gumption for that !

He most definitely needed to be in reverse. It's a controlled decent with engine braking/gearing that way. If he just used his brakes he would have slid down (most likely way too fast)

At the land rover dealership in San Jose Costa Rica they have a series parked ontop something like that only 10 times taller and longer.
