1001 Uses!

I was using my Defender jack to lift the floor joists under my kitchen this weekend and got to thinking:
What else have I done weird with my truck?

Lately I've used it to pull railroad ties, been a blender, and the whole floor lifting experience.

Anybody else have a good use?

hmm, used the highlift for the same reason once, towed a forklift out of being stuck with it, knocked over snow banks so they were easier to shovel, leave it in front of my friends house as a jungle jim for the kids, it seems to work rather well as a boat anchor in shallow muddy water, but until recently it was mostly used for collecting spiderwebs.

1001 Uses!

The crew that replaced our furnace was ready to drag the old unit out of the cellar, and they asked if I would move one of my Land-Rovers into position to anchor their come-along. That provided an excellent opportunity to try out the newly installed capstan winch on the D90 hybrid. They thought it was a pretty handy device.

Nice Willies there Rod..... a neighbor of mine has 2, and the high milage one has 35,000 miles on it. the low milage is under 5,000. I love those pickups.

Glad to hear the 4.6 is going well for you.

Man, your 90 looks good in the background. Do you have any more pictures of it? I like the stance and the way it looks.

Here you go Will,

MY 90, ALL TWISTED UP! WHAT CAN I SAY, IT'S NUTS!!!!!

Yes, thats a 2x12 its ramped up on -not some tiny 1x12.

Yes the jokes on me, my suspension hasn't caught up to my new tires yet. When I take it off road the new tires rub hideously on the flares. I'm such a poser, I can't stand myself...

But the important thing is I'm working on it!

Thanks for the nice comments.

nice view in the background. Find a good friend and have them take the saw zaw to your fenders. It hurts to watch.
