I question the 'rigor' of his data. Expensive powertrains? How many ZF or LT130 issues are there-really he means expensive head gasket issues and porous blocks. Of course all this is based off someone else doing the work, since it is really the labor that kills you.
I also question the Frisbee being on there but no P38? One also has to acknowledge that D's aren't on there bc they are a production rounding error in the NA market.
Agreed. I've had a Lincoln LS since new in 2000. Great little car. All issues were handled under warranty and were only the engine coils and rack. Tranny has been great! Replaced the clock spring last weekend, but that was a snap. Maybe I'm just lucky. I hope I didn't just jinx myself! ;-)
I'm much more concerned for the P38 than I'd ever be for the LS. Atleast the P38 is a '98 and still gems.
