1.4 tcases an offer

1.4 tcases- an offer Not sure if this is misc or items for sale. I'm not selling anything but rather offering a cost effective way to obtain what many seem to want.

I have a container leaving the Uk in 8-12 days. Frank/aka Mongo had asked me about 1.4 tcases and the Wright Off Road sound deadening kits for Defenders.
There will be 2 110's in this 40 ft container as well as a new rust free tub for my Sankey trailer, so not a whole lot more room for large items but thought I would see if there was sufficient interest for 1.4 tcases as they can sit on the floor and not take up too much room. If so and you are willing to commit I'll call Dave Ashcroft and see what kind of deal I can strike. I see no value in importing used crap from ebay Uk or "breaker yards" so please don't ask if your greasy ebay purchase can go in the container. I will be able to give you a quote now on the tcase imported and upon arrival we will have to make another arrangement to get the tcase shipped to you. Port of entry will be Baltimore. I'm not looking to profit on these but rather making an offer to the d90 community since I keep getting pm's about these. I'd like to satisfy the demand once and for all-or forever hold your peace.

Wright Off Road

http://www.wrightoffroad.com/technical_info.htm

Obviously this is a time sensitive, so pony up and I'll cal Dave. The Wright Offroad product I will most likely have to procure through Allmakes but will cross that bridge when I have a tally if there is interest.I want a black r380 setup for myself and thought others may want to jump to jump @ the opportunity.
Understandably you can opt out if pricing doesn't suit but let me know if you have interest so I can get an idea of pricing. I'm sure this will bite me in the a$$ as no good deed goes unpunished but...

I'd be interested in a mat system in black. Not sure if I am R380 or Lt77 since i have the auto swap, but I assume R380.

thanks,
charles

Hey Doug

I'll take a black LT77 kit and a 4'x8' 6mm load matt (also black) if the price isn't insane. Any idea of ball park $$$?

Hey! you could ship it to me with my doors

cheers for trying to get this together.

Cool- this is shaping up to be more of a mat scenario than tcases. Tony I have two new second row door's here and the plan is to use those factory boxs to ship your doors in. Hope that will happen before this container is on its way.
I cross posted this on Expo as well and have 4 more mat systems from there.

for a moment, I was hoping you were going to offer me an 'upgrade price'
OK - can I ask where you got those and how much? I didn't think they were still availible, but to be honest, I haven't look THAT hard. Using those boxes is a great break.

I want to bite on the tcase offer, as mine's a bit rumblee, but until I know which way the cummins conversion goes, I should wait. Already have a rebuilt r380 sitting here I won't be using.

Scott,
Its kind of an open offer. If some folks step up and want stuff from Ashcrofts we can try and negotiate with Dave. He's a member of this forum and has posted recently. If you want to just buy one I'm happy to get it over for you. BTW- coming to MAR ?

Hey Doug, I can't open the links to check. Is the matting system the same (or similar to) the acoustic system sold on the Exmoor site? If so, I would be down for a black LT77. If someone is able, perhaps they could post (rather than link) a picture . Cheers, al.

Upgrade ? You didn't buy anything from me. The second row two part doors have long been unobtainium unless you pay ECR to make them for you. These are new push button doors from Stephen @ Safari Rover but the door shape and dimensions are the same so the boxes should work the trick.

No worries on the tcase. I get a lot of pm's asking me if I can help get them so thought I would offer since shipping will truly be negligible. That said its not brutal in the first place- I think my r380 cost $190 to airfreight in.

Sorry on the links-forgot when you cut and past the links get deactivated:

I would also be interested in a black LT77, LHD(if that makes a difference) pending price, I know they are not cheap.
