04 Natinal Rally!

Well, we had a blast at the rally. Got first place in the twist off, almost rolled the 90, and came home w/o a single damage. The trip was a blast and as far as I know there were only three breakages. Norman Hall blew his R&P on Double Whammy, and Tis broke his u joint on the rear drive shaft on the same obstacle, and Karen Kreutzer "Keith’s wife" broke a rear experimental axle shaft, and she did Flat Iron Mesa, Mattel masher, and Hill's Revenge in only 3 wheels drive

I have tons of pictures and a couple of videos and I'll try to post them tonight.

Anyone has pictures please post here

Rather than posting here and filling up the database, email them over to me. I will process them as I get them and not make you all wait like the rest of the updates I have been piling up.

Yousef, I was planning on going to Moab. But things could change. Did you get to run Indy last week? What sections were run? Any damage? JP

Chris I will email the pictures to you

JP, no I didn't run Indy since I couldn't get the 90 done by then. As for damage, Noah had some body damage, and Tis tore his rear fender flair and slightly bent his rear quarter panel with his big sticky tires

I don't think I can go to Moab again this year, driving the 90 once is enough for me

Yes that too. I asked Yousefs son Ahmed (4yrs old) what the symbols on the dash were, and he pointed to the low beam light and said jellyfish!

How did the ride home go? Any other problems? I'll be sure to give moral support next time you break something, but I expect you to break something more then just a bushing.

The ride home was interesting since the trailing arm bushing on the other side decided to let go as well...

Crazy considering that they were both only 2 week old genuine LR parts

"but I expect you to break something more then just a bushing"
First thing I have broken off-road on any of the 4 Rovers I have owned. Luck? Skill? Guess I better knock on wood

Oh man, Mike is the best baby sitter I have ever seen. To bad he is not a girl

Chris, your mail box is full.

Glenn, I made sure the trail we ran didn't have any mud hole before I handed the keys to Mike. I like my D90 clean
