90 has a roofrack. plus I will not be the only vehicle going south. Do not misunderestimate the abilities of the Rover Parts Underground Railroad.

Ron,
should be a group meeting at the shop at the same time you'll be crossing into Me. We could all meet up there and do the convoy up.

Once we get there you're on you're own. You guys break too much shit! (just kidding)

Are there bunny trails?

I only was able to procure 2 235 85 R16 tires because of the weather so I will only have two chains and I will be in stock D90 w/o a winch. Although I like to think I know how to drive.

ron, no problem. I've never been there on anything but 235's and 1 pair of chains and have done most of the trails. Yeah I usually have to get a tug or three. As long as you aren't breaking trail out front of the group you should be fine. Dickey Rd. is the "bunny" trail though it has occasionally been impassible. Recovery points and a good shovel are critical. And the correct attitude, which we already know you have. Oh yeah and extra socks.

Carlos

Looking forward to seeing good friends, eating at Big G's, drinking in Bruce's workshop, and actually getting away from this weather a bit. Hopefully wen I come back it will be 60f again.

Ron, what kind of chains? I have two sets of regular ones but am looking for the RUD style.

I have 4 rud (planning on using 2) and 4 cable chains which I will use all four IF they fit on my 265s (I forget what size they are, I know they fit 235 85 but might be too small although they seem to have a lot of adjustment). You can borrow a set of RUDs.

ah, thought you were unloading a set. not sure if 235 ones will fit 265's or vice versa. but they might. chaining up all four is a nice idea, when i did the back only it tended to push the truck off the trail alot.
