What's the chance of moving this event to Hawaii or Costa Rica? I'd even settle for south Texas. I really don't understand the idea of going to a place that's colder than where you live. Please spare me any inducements to drive in snow.

It is an excuse to wear that quilt lined overall your mom bought you for Christmas and the snow makes your truck super quiet.

Well if you can convince Bruce to move to one of those places, maybe. Good luck.

Oh, yeah it is fun, main reason. Good friends persevering through shared adversity sort of thing. Oh, and the drinking, and the Hott Tub and fair maidens of the Holiday Inn. Or so I've heard.

Bring the loobie and you can have the RR vs 90 showdown. If a stock one ever shows up. Just remember the #1 rule of Winter Romp:

NO WHINING

I will be there - just need to get a ROVER!! Ha!!

Can I come in my '97 4runner? LOL.

If anyone wants them i have a set of 4 almost new high end RUD chains that fit 255-85-16 tires. (and probably others) I can bring them with me. Sell/trade for what ever.

I am meeting a guy saturday who's driving up from new hampshire to look at buying my yuppie mobile Audi - if that sells it will be a bawls-to-wall search for the perfect D90 or maybe a cheapie RRC to tide me over. Already eyeing a couple of Chuck "BuyRover's" 84 90's with TDi already....

I will be there - looks like without a Rover though sadly.

So I will be the lame-ass guy with his thumb out looking for a ride. I will provide the gracious driver with his/her choice of liquid poison however! (After the rides and safely at the evenings destination of course) Or I can also provide chains - I don't have any hot sisters to offer though... Waterville can provide plenty of warm women to help you there, just keep the lights OFF.

I can tell you from experience that the passenger seat in Ron Peppard's truck is worth begging for.
