Nice. Me too. Heading up Thursday evening. I'm bringing a cooler so I can bring some lobsters back with me.

If he leaves beer in the truck beer thieves/land rover owners will see it and drink it.

Better to bring the beer to your room that way we will be warm when we drink your beer....

Ron you realize my truck and my cooler are the same thing, right? I will be going everywhere with it. I removed the boost wheels in preparation.

Plan on going Thurs as well, earlier the better for me - asked Jarek on NJLR if he wanted to meet up and I think we'll do something.

I'm going to trailer the LR up their. Just too damn long on pavement to sit in the defender at 55 the whole way!

as the day approaches, let me know where everyone is meeting and at what time

Also - my other half can't come, shes got a baby shower to go to (god those things must suck). Anyone looking to split a room? I dont need to but figured if someone is looking to save some coin I'll be glad to split a room and do the same

Yes we got some snow. I was in NYC yesterday and it was like spring and it was 30 here! No truck still has no motor in it. Was waiting for the clutch to arrive and hopefully bolt everything on tomorrow and drop the motor in Saturday. Lobster for dinner or live ones to bring home?

Going to need some live ones for the trip back. Last time I was in Portland, ME I got a lobster roll from Portland Lobster Company that was pretty damn good, though!

Chill...

We have snow, ice and mud...

Still early yet...

The weather up here is always changing and never disappoints everyone.

Call the Hendsbee's in advance, whatever you want that is local and in season
they will have ready for you to pick up on your way out of town.

Need help

My truck is out of commission due to rear crossmember issue.
http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...referrerid=134
CGalpin has kindly offered to cut one off of his trailer and can get it up to the ROMP.

Is anyone from the NY area attending and willing to drive to back to NY where i could then pick it up?

I realize it is a lot to ask but thought it would be worth a shot. I am located on the south shore of Long Island.

thanks and have a great Romp

Any of you NoVa/MD guys rolling through Boston on your way north? I know it's a longshot, but I need something transported.

I will be there..... Driving down in my BMW XI wagon - hey it's all wheel drive so it will be fine on the trails right?

Rover-less so is anyone in need of a winch helper and free dinner/beers? It's a great event and it's the one thing other than my lovely wifey I really missed last year living in New Zealand for the winter.

I will be there Friday evening through Saturday.

I may bring a bunch of parts to sell cheap or give away - cleaning shop - who wants a Sals rear axle, lt77, 1.4 t-case, rebuilt dizzy.... And more.

Doug
