I'm head *down* on Friday afternoon/evening.... Rover gods willing in the "new" completed TDI swap RRC. Still working hard on her - but IT IS RUNNING! And what a sweet sound it is.

By the way anyone headed through/by Portland Maine who would like free breakfast at Big G's or a beer or 6 on me I need to RURR an RRC rear cargo cover from Portland to romp. Anyone?
Cheers!
Doug

Doug, Let me get a picture of the one I have for you tomorrow. I can bring it up. I think they're all the same color though.

Also I'm looking for a windscreen.... Local places are 2 weeks out. Ouch. Bummer. Damn.

Thanks Matt for the reminder. Done.

So I bought a beater RRC today. Drove her home just now - romp truck in case the TDI isn't ready. If it is I will pull the windscreen from the beater and swap it over last minute. Ha ha

Matt - do you have any extra decent upper AND lower RRC tailgates? It's the only scabby parts on the new beater. Otherwise, even the dash clock works! She's going to be a good trail slut and work horse.

Alright so I'm bringing 2 series fenders up,4 tires, and 2x 4 packs of heady topper. The topper is not for sale...but if you ask nicely I'll give you one.

Yes- there it is at the top of the list for the beer snobs..

Anyways, if anyone else needs something let me know soon. Can't fit TOO much more but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Should be a blast with this storm heading that way. I had planned on the 5hr run up to Annapolis for Valentines day. The forecast here is 10-14 with much of that coming in the form of a thunder snow storm with very fast accumulations. Looks like the path of the storm is right up through Maine. Should be fun times.
