I have a set of chains but not sure on what size tire they fit. They came with my RRC which has 245/70-16 tires. Chains measure 78''x16''. One of the locking mechanisms has been replaced with 2 locking chain links. Other than that, they appear to be in solid shape.
Pics…. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/uh0frtsw0...YwdHw2RZa?dl=0
I have a member picking up some RURR pieces and can see if these can piggy back up to Romp but I would want them back… just a loaner.
Sorry for the crappy pics.

Bob will be there with the trax but not sure anyone can follow him. We'll see. We may mount them to a d-90 or 110 for better weight/compaction.

Wonder if it'll even do anything being so cold. Hard to compact snow at that temp. Worth a shot though.

I'd be down for a flight up and a drive back. Well I could get it to Atlanta easily. A lot closer to FL.

Also assuming its actually in good shape...

I think Raub is already working on this. apparently a lot of flights into Boston have been canceled due to the storm

Reserved a room for Fri and Saturday nights @ the Waterville Grand. Was surprised they aren't sold out.

the grand is only taking reservations for our group.. heard 70 rooms booked.... make sure anyone going up registers with bruce...( winter romp site)

he just needs to gauge how many are coming and flow to BIG G's : )

I think the snow will compact with traffic...
I heard there is a 101 coming up with a snow blower mounted to the front .. that should be interesting......

The truck is definitely drivable I put 800 miles on it, but I think it will need a license plate

Considering I just had to winch myself INTO my driveway, I'd say so! This stuff does not pack at all. I guess that could change or be different up there, but I seriously doubt it.

Have fun guys, the one year I went there was no snow, this is a bit more than I can probably handle as a novice offroader with a stock setup. Would probably go as a passenger if I wasn't buried in work, snow and my kids weren't too small. Can't wait for the pics.

Ron, we still need to find that one trail we got stuck on for 6 hours that one night. That was one of the best trails there and I've never found it since.
