Be careful on the way home guys… the most capable vehicle on the planet won't help you if you can't see.

* IMPACTS... HEAVY SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL LEAD TO BLIZZARD CONDITIONS AT TIMES LATE TONIGHT AND SUNDAY. TRAVEL WILL BE DANGEROUS OR IMPOSSIBLE WITH SNOW COVERED ROADS AND LOW VISIBILITY. WIND CHILL VALUES ARE EXPECTED TO BE WELL BELOW ZERO SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT.
* WINDS... NORTH 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH.
* VISIBILITIES... ONE QUARTER MILE OR LESS AT TIMES.

We were the 4th truck in yesterday @ 11am in Ron Peppard's disco. Anything with tires smaller than 35's and chains struggled miserably. Even that combo and twin lockers wasn't enough on places. We made it back about a mile and then the snowmobilers we met convinced us we had no hope of making the loop. By that point there were 10 other intrepid souls who were stuck around us and all had to be turned around to get out. We left the trail head @ 10 last night. Sitting in a disco drinking Laphroig that was about zero degree's because it had been in Chris Snyders 90 was about the high point of the day. 11 hours to do 2 miles of trail.

Looking @ the weather and trying to decide whether leaving today is the right move. South of here the storm hit harder and Kittery for example got 17 inches of snow last night. Winds are forecast to be gusting to 60 here today, wind chills will be crazy low.

I have one, but I think it came off of an early '89 RRC and it has no pulley on it, so I'm not sure it will work. You're welcome to it. my number it eight zero four 690 thirty eighty.

I just sent you a text, but is the shaft keyed or smooth and tapered? My grooved pulley is smooth and tapered. I have a spare older RRC alt, but my pulley won't fit on it! Sounds like this might be the same deal.

Bruce should have one. I borrowed it a few years ago. From a 92 RRC, but we swapped the pulley and it worked on my 94 lwb.
