Thanks Ron. Yeah Bruce told me that this morning. He also said that registration forms are due by February 8, 2013 and not 2018 like the form says.

Thanks Matt!
You beat me at posting an update...
As Matt said... The Bessey Road which is
a private road; was completely rebuilt this past fall.

The owner of the road does not want any vehicular traffic
on it this year. We can't not screw this request up, period.

Somewhere on a trail junction we will have a barbecue pit set up
for lunch etc. The camp owners will not be present this year due
to the road being closed.

The condition of the trails this year are such that a winch
capable of recovering your vehicle is going to be required
on all but the easiest of trails.

Keep an eye on the forum for updates.

Bruce

Bruce, this will be my first Romp. No winch yet, so ..will there be enough of the "easiest" trails for most of the day?

Looks like I will in the Willow Green Disco and not the RRC - diesel is still sitting on the engine stand, and the rest of my interior swap parts are still with Joel M in NC, but due soon.

So the 4+ inch lifted 5 speed D1 with RTE front bumper, winch, swampers, 4.43 gears and lockers will be coming.... probably safer anyway since I could care less if she gets dented. If anyone is looking for me just follow the burning oil smell and look for a New Zealand license plate on the front of a Willow Green Disco.

Does anyone coming to romp have an extra 285-75-16 tire? Something cheap, decent tread but need not be great. I need a spare and nobody local has a cheapie for me.

I am running 285 swampers and have a 265 spare - which in a real pinch is fine though I figured I'd ask here. Happy to pay a fair price, swap something and of buy you dinner/beer.

Thanks!

Doing a little Romp shake down. Making sure I remember how to put on the chains.
Truck went through 2 feet of snow no problem.
Also saw that my snow cowel worked! ....at least thats how I justified it to the wife.
