I guess I'll miss it too. There's things that I want to do the Landy before I take it to any serious romps.

You dont have to take it off road. Could just drive up and be a winch bitch for someone.

That's not fun. I want to get dirty. I need to get dislocations for my springs, extended brake lines, new tyres, ARB compressor hooked up, and complete diff locks for my front. I'll have all of that by summer. *hopefully*

You don't need any of that. You need to drive it off road first! Maybe extended brake lines first if you have a lift, but other than that you need to just take it off road. These trucks are more capable out of the box than you are.

Agree - just like i tell my students at the track... the first three things you should buy for your car are Seat time, Seat time, and more Seat time.

Good thing about the ROMP is there are trails for EVERYONE. guys that have stock DIscos/LR3's and guys that have 38" tires....

Its as much about the good time and Bruce grilling a whole cow as it is the wheeling

Are you driving up this year or trailering the rig?

Thinking about it. I would probably just drive the 110 up. Might go up to the folks place north of Boston a day or two early to break up the trip and drop off the kids.

I was thinking of doing the same but the 14th apparently is something Important I should be home for? I dunno that's what the wife tells me....

If I can make it, I will probably bring the wife along. Going to be questionable as I just found out her best friends 40th birthday is Monday after.

I will be there all weekend. Not sure the RRC will be 100% finished with the interior swap and diesel conversion.... But if its running ill bring it.... If not the '96 5 speed disco, locked and on Swampers will come and get hammered on for a bit.

Not coming in a BMW this year! Ha ha

Can't miss a Romp.

Doug

EDIT - why in the world do I ha e a picture of a d90 showing up in the body of my posts? Looks like Josh's truck maybe? WTF? Can anyone else see this? Spooky.
