with alot of help from mike hippert and 5hrs later we finally got my winch to work. turned out to be a bad connection on one of the brushes. sunday i fitted it to the truck and somehow connected the earth and live back to front ( i only have two black cables) and following them through they must of crossed over, the truck caught fire. not to much damage done. had the ARB motor tested, that turned out to be a loose connector so thats back on the truck. just got to get my front diff gaurd welded and i think i'm all set for the winte romp. see ya all there.
Kris from milford NH is looking for someone to ride shotgun with. he would pay half of all gas and hotel room if anyone is interested.

still sticking with 3rd low and boot it

Caught fire... Jeez Jimmy.... You know you shouldn't smoke when under the truck.

I have some late nights ahead of me this week getting the interior back together. Wired in the dash console with exception of the hazard switch (which confounds me). Also wired in my compressor and tank.

At least the forecast is calling for a snow storm Wed.

I am meeting Scott at the welcome center in Maine and leaving there at 2pm. The center is exit 3, route 1 north. Anyone coming across on the 101 or up the 95 want convoy from there

Same as Dave. Not exactly sure when I'll be leaving yet, but if it's around then I'll stop.

JS, looks like I'm going to wait for Jamil and Bob. We "should" be in your area at that time, but don't wait for us. I'll give you a call and see if we can't meet up or knwo where you guys are.

Well no chains for a 265/75 tire in stock, so looks like I'm going without chains . Hopefully just airing down my Goodyear Winter Duelers will be sufficient.

Anyone bringing their dog? I emailed Bruce to find out if they're welcome, but thought I'd ask here too.

Thanks Eric. See you at Big G's. I hear you can get breakfast and a set of Hella's for a mere $180.

That looks way more interesting than the trail I did. I should've gone with you guys. I was all worried at first running without chains. It seemed like everyone was chaining up. But at 10 psi, I could do everything the guys with chains could do. A lot of the time even better! Next time I'm riding with you guys.

You guys can thank me for plowing through that hole...
