I think the red D its headed to VA this week end. I wont know till it happens. I bought another truck in TX thats supposed to be here in 7 days. So if the red D doesnt sell Ill be driving that up to the Romp. If the new truck doesnt make it up i"ll be riding with Dennis.

This is what I bought.

I am staying with some friends near Benton and am driving back Monday AM. I will have an open seat back to CT if anyone needs a contingency plan should something go wrong (i.e. break down). Cell: 860 705-3985. Just thought I'd offer.

Probably not, but I should go. I am waiting on some parts for the RRC (plus I am planning to sell it soon and don't want any serious damage). Maybe I'll drive up as a spectator. I need to buy something I am less afraid to wheel.

Guys I have a question about snow chains. I was reading on the required equipment list that snow chains were required. I had mis read it and thought it was snow tires or snow chains, but apparently it's both. Now my question is, what're the best chains that I can get before this weekend? Should I get some for all fours wheels? Just front? Just back? Any input would be great!

Chains are not required just don't show up with street tires if you don't have chains.

if there isnt any snow up north you most likely you wont need chains. If I only had one set I think id put them up front.
I have used RUD chains and they seem to work well and are easy to put on.

As Kevin said street tires wouldn't be a good choose on some of the trails but I think there will be trails for all levels. Just make sure you have front and rear recovery points....
See you up there.

Not sure I like Jimmy's third low and boot it. Last time I tried that it was third low and blew it!. two tires that is.

Just checked out the forecast and looks like a good amount of snow this week. I think I'll find some chains just to be on the safe side. I'd rather have them than not.
