How would you like to win an all expense trip to London, England to attend the London to Brighton Land Rover Run? Carolina Rover Owners Club in conjunction with the South London & Surrey Land Rover Club are having a raffle which will send one lucky Land Rover owner to London-Heathrow (via Raleigh/Durham) to attend the annual London to Brighton Land Rover Run (for more information about this event, check out their website at HTTP://www.london2brighton.org.uk/
Each raffle ticket is $10. This includes non-stop round trip air fare from RDU to LHR and all accommodations while in England plus VIP status while attending the actual event. The flight leaves RDU at approximately 6:55pm on October 1st, 2009 returning to RDU at approximately 2:40pm on October 5th, 2009. You will be picked up at the airport and be the guest with one of the SLSLRC club members Friday. Saturday you will arrive at Crystal Palace and camp for the night. You will leave Sunday morning for the drive to Brighton and enjoy the festivities. Sunday night you will again be the guest of an SLSLRC member and be driven back to the airport on Monday. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to partake in one of the largest Land Rover events in Europe.
If you would like to enter the raffle, you simply need to purchase one or more tickets. There will only be a total of 200 tickets available. The cutoff date for the raffle is 12 noon on May 26th
. Again, you can only purchase tickets up to 12 noon on May 26th, 2009
. The winner will be notified shortly thereafter. Regardless of how many tickets are sold, the drawing will be held. Sorry about the short time frame but in order to change the name on the ticket, we only have 5 days from the reservation date. The winner should (no guarantees) have the opportunity to modify the flight dates if they want to go earlier or stay later. Keep in mind that if you change the dates, you are responsible for the additional lodging and getting to/from the airport.
To purchase a ticket, you MUST pay via PayPal (we do not have time to wait on checks) since we only have a 5 day window for the ticket reservation. You can either send an email to admin%at%carolinarovers.info (replace the %at% with @) with your name, address, phone, email, number of tickets and we will send you a PayPal invoice OR you can send payment via PayPal directly to admin%at%carolinarovers.info (replace the %at% with @) again with your name, address, phone, email, and number of tickets. Remember, each ticket is $10.
Once payment is received, we will fill out your raffle tickets and drop the tickets in the box. This is a first come-first serve raffle. The president of CROC is in charge of the raffle (receiving payments, filling out raffle tickets, and the drawing) and is INELGIBLE for the drawing (we do not want anyone to think we are fixing the raffle).
