Arizona is a border state with a very porous border. You have to figure that a chupacabra or two will make it up here from time to time. If you guys didn't bring any goats (insert bad joke here) you should be fine.
Down here in the Phoenix area we spray our houses for bugs and for chupacabras. So far the spray is working.

I also wanted to give credit to Manimal and JBriggs for their help in building our booth - it came out even better than I envisioned and was a great hangout for all the Defender guys and gals this year.

Well I finally made it back around 4pm today and I am sleep dead...I don't know how I survived sleep driving the way I did...maybe I became one with the 90...lol...

All in all it was pretty good...I'd say Jeff and Matt explored a new dimension in their friendship.... A few mechanical issues but in the end nothing serious. Good times, good food, good friends... (oh and crappy showers...throwing one out for you sucky Arizona park management !)

The showers were crappy in 2012. The only perk was one of the coin accepters was broken so you could take a long crappy shower

More than 2 food vendors would have been appreciated as well as porta potties for those of camped in the back 40.
Brownie points for so many friendly Land Rover techs there to teach classes. All but one of our classes at least one instructor had 90's of there own, many of whom brought them.

I to really enjoyed meeting everybody. My favorite line from dinner was "I bought wood in Las Vegas." Priceless. Safe trip home, be glad you missed the fire now burning up the canyon from Sedona, sky the color of Mars and everywhere smells like a campfire.

James you have a very nice D90...super clean...well maybe not after the Gobi sand storm. Here is one from the morning of the big leave...after everything is put away. Oh and if you can make out my new black on black most excellent 9.5 CTI replacement for my old 9.5 winch which Overland has...and now Briggs has his old one a Warn 9.0...yes it's confusing but it's all in the family...lol!
