Wheel, Bike, Camp

Does anyone know of a good place in PA to use the d90 on the trail to set up camp and Mountain bike?

Check out the State College area. Get a Purple Lizard map, there is lots of moutain biking, hiking, camping throughout the state forest. No tough 4x4 roads but you can find what they call "drivable trails" and lots of dirt roads that lead to isolated spots. The attached is a car camp spot in the Loyalsock State Forest, the chimney belonged to the old CCC camp mess hall. The spots are free but you have to register. This was the trailhead to the Old Logger Path, a 27.1 loop trail hike. One of my favorties.

Also look up the Bald Eagle State Forest (NOT State Park, two different things)

Feel free to contact me and I can give you a bunch of places to go.

Thanks.. Very cool. I had my adventure this weekend at a Mtn Bike Race in Fairhill, (Cecil County, MD) not much of a full adventure but got tons of high fives on the D90...
