Just got home from almost a week in northern VT. Wish I had a vehicle and the time for this trip. I mountain biked a bunch and came across a bunch of old jeep and logging roads. Vermont woods are the shit! Hope you guys do it again next year - I should have a capable rig by then!

Stowe mostly - and we did a bike tour up in the Burlington area (and into NY via ferry)

Attached a pic of a fun rock spine I rode on Kimmers trails in Stowe. I know it's not Rover content but shows off some VT dirt, roots and rocks

Nice! My boss(Mark Letorney) is a huge mountain biker, always hits the Stowe trails.

I live in South Burlington, right on the border of Burlington near UVM. If you're ever up in your Rover I know some trails...

Thanks - didn't know Mark rode - i think there is some great riding on that side on the Notch as well (Fellowship of the Wheel stuff). But Stowe has some amazing trail so can see why he would go over there.

I went to St Mikes and know Burlington. We used to hit little spots up there in Jeeps way back when. Would be a ton of fun to wheel up there. Hoping I can get a Rover up there in the next year.

Don, what year SMC?

You haven't lived until you ride the Northeast Kingdom trails. Hopefully you've been there already.

Edit: Hey Zack, if you can hustle my orders out the door, I'll breathe a little relief... ;-)

Never rode the Kingdom trails. No real reason to - we stay in Stowe which has plenty of trail and if I ever want something more there is Waterbury which is only 20 minutes away.

Kingdom is over an hour each way. Although I would love to check out Knight Ides house - heard he has some great jumps there. And one of the guys said that Kingdom has a new line that is like a giant pump track that sounds like it would be a rip to ride.

Just missed you, I was '98.

Kingdom is legit. Well worth the extra drive time. I'll do day trips from north of Boston sometimes just to ride it on a beautiful day.

Would really appreciate it. As always, down to the wire with fixing stuff pre-trip.

Well, my team mate has officially cancelled on me (Toyota guy - should have known) due to his work load. Replacing a team mate at this late date is highly unlikely. I am really bummed out but out of options at this point. If anyone wants to put a team together last minute let me know and we will work somthing out.

I can post up on our local club's site as you're far more likely to find someone from up this way to join at the last minute anyway.

Very cool to have another Purple Knight on the D90 Source! BTW - my younger brother graduated 1998 from SMC - same last name and his first name is Tony. I think he was a bouncer at Rueben James / RJs his senior year if that helps.

I know I need to try Kingdom - see what all the talk is about
