Vermont trip photos

A few of us went camping in Vermont over the weekend. Her are the pictures my girlfriend took with her GoPro. I'm sure the others will have some more pictures. Amanda and I arrived pretty late at the first camp site which I don't have pictures of. As soon as we got there it started raining and poured all night. Fortunately it had mostly stopped in the morning. After breakfast and breaking down camp we started to make out way to the next camp site. This was a relatively short ride through the clouds.

After our drive on road we switch to the short trail up the mountain which was pretty muddy and a lot more rutted out than the last trip. I only have a few photos that I took, but hopefully I can get a couple of videos from my girlfriend's GoPro.

When we arrived at the top we were just completely in the clouds and there was no view whatsoever. Naturally, we ran to take a group pic.

Luckily, after an hour or so, the skies cleared and revealed a spectacular view.

We arrived at the camp site fairly early and the kids were getting restless. Since we're responsible adults, Josh decided we should rig up a zip line using a snatch block and my winch hooked to a tree. Josh's window nets provided the perfect harness for the kids.

The first attempt ended with Jason's son, Ethan, slamming into the rocks on the ground. That problem was solved by stacking up some Pelican cases and a cooler.

Those are all of the pictures I have for now, but I will upload more as I get them!

Yep, whole family came out...left the dog home as our 90 was bordering on clown-car status. Thankfully had Lelo Fab's crossbars done up last month so I could use the half-rack and leave the Sankey at home.

Plenty of Taco Trucks pics in the following!

The kids were restless so it started with it being for them. Then we got into it, and kept coming up with ways to make it faster (faster snatch block, going higher up the tree, using 1 tree strap instead of 2, etc.).

I was glad to finally get my OzTent out for some use. The built-in awning was awesome and fit us all comfortably the first night when it started raining, and the next day when it was too sunny on top of the mountain it provided the needed shade.
