lol - looking at the family and work calendar this week

my wife is checking out the website and videos too - they are nicely done

if she sees clowns, beagles and diesel bombs, she'll say "you can go with your brother and your dad"

No ACTUAL clowns that i'm aware of there...I could be wrong though..
Maybe a clown painting or 2.. And the Diesel Bomb is really more of a diesel flame thrower.....

totally safe(..ish)

What's a few 3rd degree burns among friends?

Is anyone up for some range time on Sunday?

Im in. I'd like to hit up the Range at some point.

There may be various works of clown art floating around. They add a certain aesthetic to the campsite.

Uwharrie National Forest has a Range. I've just never used it. Not everybody out there uses the range. Sometimes it the side of the road as your pulling through.

Actually it is a very family oriented event with lots of kids and families in attendance. Which is not to say it's not fun it's just not a bachelor party.

It's close to the campground and will be open Sunday. If you look at the bottom of the even registration page you'll see this:

Shooting Range (Sunday ONLY)

This shooting range provides 25-yard pistol and 100-yard rifle ranges. The site is monitored and PASSES are required. Passes are NOT sold on site at the range.

Users need to bring eye protection, hearing protection, and targets. Only approved target stands may be used. Stands are available on site.

Read the Range Rules and view the Flintlock Valley map for more information.

Thanks Raub! - that is what initially grabbed my attention about Uwharrie. Ultimately, if my wife and daughters decide to wait for the Florida event, this may turn out to be a 'men's-town' trip for me.

Cool brian !!

its getting there slowly but surely.. Got the load area switch box wired up tonight and ready for install after this weekends rattle can re-bed lining and all the hardware for the front box. Hopefully tomorrow, once i get that all done - its off to macco for some paint (if they are not crazy on the pricing that is otherwise its rattle can time)...

not sure if i'll have the RTT on it or not, or want too this year since my 6 yr old might be a bit iffy in it but they eventually will go up there and they are excited about that.
