@ Uwharrie there is a guy down in the "town" of Uwharrie that has an honor system for firewood bundles. You push your money through a hole in the side of the barn and take the appropriate number of bundles.

Now that's funny right there.....
Working on my new and improved dry storage case tonight. I have space for both the dutch ovens and all the accessories that are needed for a successfull trip. Also changed the RTT around and generally cleaned the truck. Now if I can just get the snorkel mounted.

Dale no excuses for not showing up. You've got all your bionic parts installed and live closer than anybody else.

While at Uwharrie Safari (in 2 weeks!), I'm going to do an under bonnet schooling for my friend with the TDI RRC on the IP and IP timing. I'm going to pull out my boost diaphragm and talk about the different IP settings for him. I had a thought today that some others that are not familiar with TDI's might be interested in turning it into a front bumper Q&A. If there's an interest, perhaps some others like Doug, with alot of expertise with the TDI's could chime in as well. I think the club would benefit from informal SME topic focused sessions like this.

If there is an interest, we can coordinate a time, and I"ll even pull my bonnet off. I'm tentatively thinking Saturday maybe around 4ish before raffle and BBQ time starts kicking in.

Thoughts? If there's no interest, then I'm free to do it with my buddy at a time that's convenient for just us. I'm going to post this on expo and FB as well.

As someone who will soon have a TDI RRC, I'd be interested to see this.

Sure I'd be up for that one of us could even bring a dial indicator and show how to set up timing correctly after a belt change. I'm sure Robert would be willing to stop by and explain why the only engine that should ever go under a 110 bonnet is an om617.....

Well, he'll have to explain why he hasn't come up with a kit for the RRC/OM617 before I'll listen.
