Uwharrie Rover Expedition (URE)

Anyone here going to the Uwharrie Rover Expedition this weekend? Has anyone been to this event in the past? Just curious. I start my fall break from school tomorrow and am going to Uwharrie with some friends on Friday.

Don't look now, but there's a category 5 hurricane headed right for there.

Cat 5 huh. It would seem that the curse of MAR might strik again. ROAV is having a post MAR repair weekend at Pearl's Pond this weekend. Go figure we'd get a hurricane.

I went by accident a few years ago in my 84 fj60 on 33/10.5s. The group was great. The trails at the event are not really that challenging. but are fun to play on. You can find small boulders and obstacles to play on and watch others. Overall it was a good experience for me. If you want more challenging go to Tellico, its by murphy NC. The trails are much more challenging and more of them.
