I would warn you my good friend, not to go to a Glasgow wedding and mention even in a soft voice girly kilts, especially when the Black Watch is present.
Uwharie will be much more lenient and much more receptive to adverse girly criticism.
We'll pull a cork for you despite your comments.
When you pulling in?

Looks like I got my beater back together tonight, most of it anyway. Will button up the little stuff tomorrow, pack Wednesday morning and I'll be on my way. Assuming the truck makes it of course. If not, AAA will bring it back and I'll just drive the RR again. I haven't been wheeling all year and after playing spectator at MAR I can't stand it much longer. So I'll be there when most of you show up but I'll be on the trails more than likely.

Does that mean you'll take the RR up Daniel on Friday?

I am planning on getting there mid afternoon...seems like it will be a lot drier than MAR - which will be nice.

Under 24 hrs until target departure time... and ...knock on wood... for once my truck is all squared away. Well, I hear debris in the blower motor and I need tune the new stereo. And the CB is a big question mark, but yeah. I think I'm set.

Except for the parts being shipped overnight that is

:D

As long as no one wears adventure pants, we'll be good.

I drop a friend off at CLT at 1300 and will leave from there. I'll have a case of Heffeweizen on ice. If that don't get you in the Oktoberfest spirit, nothing will.

I'm out, too much work not enough time.

Working on Land Rovers, the correct formula is take how long you think it will take you (based on 30 yrs experience working on them) and then x 3 = actual time project will take.

Wish you could swing it.
I am backed up like 10 muthalikkas, but sometimes you just need a break.
Besides was looking forward to hanging with a Trey of age, Cassie, and both adopted nieces along with my brothers Cable and UD.

Rumor has it that Shayne will be there and the rest of the usual suspects.

I do...that's how I met Staci and Chris. I've been trying to come up and visit them and y'all, but my job..omg, it's just been sooo busy. Every time I tell my boss I need some time off... I get the deer in headlights look. ...sooo. If by some miracle I can make it I'm going to have to fly...saves on time and fewer days he has to live without me lol... if not I'll be up some other time.

If I drive a rover, Staci suggests I leave a few days in advance...

I can't wait for the weekend! Wish I'd noticed the T-shirts sales dropping off on the 7th. I guess I'll take the poster and get Mark Faella, at Faella Design, to digitally print a couple of shirts for me after the event.

I can pick you up from the airport if you decide to go that route.
