That would be my man Raub- he's doing the marathon drive from S.Florida to Uwharrie all night tonight but I'm sure he will take delivery of them and haul them back.

I was excited to be able to make it down to Uwharrie for the day yesterday to see all my friends, both new and old! Had an awesome time as always and it was great to finally put some faces with some of the names I know from here! I honestly can't walk 5 feet at these kinds of events anymore without someone coming up and thanking me for the case work I'm doing! And, the outpouring of support shown by the all the members of our community is truly remarkable!

URE! is, without a doubt, my favorite Land Rover related event of the year, and it couldn't be put on by a better group of gentleman! My hats off to the Old North State Land Rover Society! The dinner, along with raffle and auction, were fantastic as always and I somehow lucked out on a pair of Hella 4000's which were donated to the raffle courtesy of our friend Joel & Buckhorn Imports!

Just a few pics attached that I took from the event yesterday and one of my prize! Thanks to all and safe travels as everyone heads home today!

P.S.- The app does not want to upload the pics on from my phone for some reason. I'll try again later. Thanks!

Yep... That's me! That's what happens when you break a cv halfway up Dutch john. Thanks daddymow for the epic tow up the grade since 2wd wasn't cutting it

Waking up this morbid to my broke truck after last nights run was sort of like waking up to a hangover... Pain in the ass but completely worth it.

Enjoyed hanging our with everyone

I really feel bad that I didnt hop out and tell you this before we did this part pf Dutch John. Even as dry as it was you need momentum or locked axles on that climb, you really didn't have either working for you. You didn't break until you were already wedged into that wall, we heard it snap as we were standing above you on the edge of the wall but were trying to remain optimistic.

I did nearly the same thing earlier in the day - minus the broke axle. That is a tricky little climb there.

I stopped in Carthage, NC to meet a friend for lunch after I left URE on Sunday. As we sat at the Pik-N-Pig eating lunch - I overheard the next table over remarking about the number of Land Rovers on the road on Sunday - and about a large group stopped on the side of road changing a tire.

They said all the normal things .... Daktari, Gods Must Be Crazy, expensive, reputation for not the most reliable vehicles, and so on.

It made me chuckle a little on the inside.
