what are registrations up to ? PS- I need another xlg shirt for Rick Newman if you made extra's ?

Folks. Lots of apprehension about this weekend.

Dan is talking daily with the ranger. We do have a back up plan. We will let everyone know once we make the final call at around 5pm Thursday.

If you choose to arrive early, before we decide and communicate, you will need to make your own arrangements. The trails remain open and the primitive camping areas are also open and we will know more tomorrow. The reason we are holding off and not immediately proceeding to "Plan B" is that we strongly believe that we will have access to the group camp on Friday... Maybe sooner (fingers crossed).

So, stay tuned and we will be sending out another notice Thursday evening.

If you are on our mailing list, then you already got the above message. I am hopeful we can get in no later than Friday, but since I too will be arriving Thursday afternoon, I hope this gets resolved Thursday.

I doubt I will be checking forums after this message, so just look for another email or facebook update tomorrow. The moment we found out one way or the other, we will be posting about it.

What a gorgeous fall weekend at URE.

Thanks to Steven and Dan and the others I don't know who put on a great event.

My co-pilot Mike Noe and I left at 11am with Widener following us all the way to Charlottesville. It was a beautiful drive up Rt 29.

Great camping and some wonderful fireside chats.

Thanks Phillip/rover4x4 for the relay troubleshooting last night!
And, don't think I won't be adding that second under-bonnet light soon.
I'll have to get my truck detailed/repaired from all the acorns that fell on it while parked at the campsite.

I highly recommend this event!

And daddymow won the award for longest distance travelled...and he should get some other kind of award for Conclave/MAR/URE from Florida!!

Here is a few pictures I took this weekend. Had a great time with Clan Crowther, Jeff and all the new people I met. The night runs were fun to say the least! Some priceless moments.

Very nice to meet you Raub and Doug. I still need to sort through pics to see what I got. A good event and thanks to all who helped organize.

Had a great time myself and really happy to meet some new people this year and of course reconnect with some old ones.

Jeff, really looking forward to some of that Daniel footage from Friday! Let us know when you go through that video.

Does anyone know the names of the couple that were camped in Camp A with the green '95 TDI classic? I need to get a hold of them, but cannot remember their name.

Thanks again everyone!
