Upstate New York get together!

I'm new to the Land Rover world. Looking to meet some other truck owners and BS about them.

I'm in Albany, NY. I would probably drive to anywhere within a hour radius to meet up with a bunch of folks. Maybe we can turn this into a once a month kind of thing? I don't know, there may not be enough folks to sustain that? I missed on the Guy Fawkes event this fall, next year for sure.

What do you fellas think?

I am in...there are a couple of us floating around here. We have had an "Adirondack Happy Hour" in the past.

Just logged on for the first time in a while and saw this. I'll be behind the bar at a new place in Albany soon that would be good for a group that enjoys good beer and isn't so loud that you can actually hold a conversation. I'll keep you posted.

I'm glad you bumped the thread.

That event looks a lot more my speed than the real overland. I'd definitely consider going this year.

Now that we got a taste of one 50degF day this week, I'm definitely more interested in meeting up. What are we thinking for getting together? There's a small pub in Albany called The Olde English that has a bunch of British drinks and fare.

Any other ideas?

Guys, the "Muddy Chef" is in my town (Manchester, Vermont) this year in July. Put it on your calendars. It would be great to get together!
