Transylvania Europe impressions

My name is Stephan from Germany. Germany is such really small, boring and everything what makes fun is forbidden, for example offroading and overlanding. We have around 80 Million citizens in Germany. To get an idea for you guys Germany is from south to north around 950 km and from west to east around 450 km. But Germany is the only country in the world you can drive so fast as you wan´t ... but who cares this...

The Defender fans in Germany has to go to small parks, if they wan´t to have some offroad or travel thousands of kilometers to other country like Maroc, Tunesia, Italy, Greece, Albania, Montenegro or even to Romania where are the Carpartain Mountains, also known a Transylvania.

The country is very poor and the people are still really religoeus and friendly.

I will give some impressions how it looks like there...

Sadly I can not show pictures... maybe someday

To post pictures I think you need 10 posts. Go to the "Registry" and post up on the guys trucks telling them how cool the truck is and what a great color it is ...then come back an post pictures, cause I want to see them.

Welcome Stephan! Loved Baden Baden back in early/mid 80's, but that was during my Porsche days and truly appreciated the lack of speed limits...

Welcome! My wife and I just returned from living in Sindelfingen, near Stuttgart. We did Iceland, Polar Circle, and all over Western Europe. Loved it!

I also did logging roads in Germany, not always legal but good fun!

Welcome to the forum.

Repaly & Thanks for all the friendly welcomes to me

First of all I will thank you guy for the friendly posts. Normally I am not a fan to write in forums but as dealer it is sometimes neccessary.

I am really impressed how friendly you guys here. In the UK or Germany it is sometimes a nightmare.

@rovertrader
You lived in Baden Baden?? In the might early 80´s I was a small child... Your where based in Rheinmünster at the canadian Airbase? In the early n 90´s I climb up the fences to met a friend for skateboarding...

@KGH
Oh Stuttgart is not so nice... but I offten was there while my brother study vehicle thenics there and he lived in Sindelfingen as well. It is around 90 km far from us. But I think Germany is so boring the country is so small so much people here, there is no adventure.

I would love to travel around Canada to see some bears, wolfes or Bissons what ever...

I can not believe how people can like Germany accept some food or or beer... ok.
