Considering that is the most densely populated and expensive suburban real estate in the country I'd have to say no.

You need to head up to western MA.

Go to Rausch Creek in PA. Loads of driving but at least you get more trails.

John,

I inquired about this a little bit; no such luck. I was directed to Pine Barrens and the like. This offroading school looks interesting though: http://www.overlandexperts.com/. It is in East Haddam, CT.

Bruce Elfstrom is an excellent teacher and his course used for training is very nicely built.

John if you want to come to Pines next time I will take you. We usually go once a month with a good group of guys. Loads of trails and some nice water holes.

I live just outside Westchester & there are slim pickings for trails around here. I know there are some mountain biking state parks in CT that are close by (trumbell?) that I think can double as offroad trails. Good luck!
