This was a great event!
Chris and Steven and others put a ton of time into this to pull it off.

There was plenty of rain and mud, but it all worked out.

Here are a few pics

Ha!
Thankfully, I overcame my fear of zipping since our leader made me go first!

This was a great event. We had an awesome time.
I only wheeled the Ford to the campsite through the crazy thick mud.
I'm coming back next time with a Rover hopefully...

Don't worry I took most of the mud with me

I even found more after this to plaster to the 110.

Great picture. Gotta love a V8 rover in the mud. That said, I hate the after effects.
Your truck has come a long way since the afternoon I cursed @ it for hours getting it out of the docks.

Your right Doug it has come a long way but it seems to be moving backwards on the engine front. I think running 1000 miles at 3000+ rpm to do 55-60 mph is killing the valves. Looks like I'm going to have to pull the heads and have them redone. Then it's not getting driven again till it has a 5 speed or ZF slush box in it.

Kraig's kegerator worked wonderfully. I had 2 or 3 sips from it.

Good to meet you Bill Ski! I love what you've done with the mud theme on your truck!

After we left The Wilds Sunday, my daughter and I detoured over to see the Big Muskie dragline bucket.

BIG.

And we're told this was the *small* bucket...

Wow you must have totally different gearing in your lt95 than I do. My/Trey's truck is lugging @ 60-65. I must have the 1 to 1 gear set. I was thinking of throwing the 12.5 x 35's on it to run on soft sand for a beach trip to Portsmouth Island a bunch of us are doing this weekend and I'm not sure the 3.5 can pull the taller tires with that gearing down the highway. Seems we have opposite problems.

Also, good to meet Chris aka Mud Ruts.
This was a great event. I didnt bring a Rover and didnt make it out on the trails....yet.
Hope to next time.

I did find that carwash near the interstate and rinsed off a few pounds of Ohio mud for the drive home. The camping field was soup.

I think you must I'm in 4th by 35ish mph with normal (3k rpm) gear changes. I probably have a 1.4 or 1.6 ratio. It has to go.
