Not sure if it has been posted but you need to buy a new copy of the Milepost prior to going and have it marked up.

I have a friend south of Jackson WY that does horse back tours, camping, etc. He is also very gun friendly, let me know if that is an area that you are going to hang out in..

It is great if you have time. There are a lot of historical things to see in the area. Great camping area on the other side of the river from the town as well. But, yes, it is way up there.

Why not just blog on d-source? If you hit Jackson and Yellowstone, you should check out Grand Teton as well. Should be a great father/son trip. Safe travels!
