TAT - May 2016

Ok here is the beginnings of a thread. As my namesake said....

May 20th we meet in Jellico TN and start. (Why then? - FULL MOON on Saturday) plus it incorporates Memorial Day where most get a 3 day long weekend after a week on the trail.

TransAmTrail.com is the exclusive source for Maps Roll-Charts, and GPS Tracks for navigating the Trans-America Trail - an exciting, off-road, dual-sport motorcycle adventure across the United States

Lets see if we can get a good group going...

I have the maps, but the idea buying the maps is sort of helping Sam for designing the TAT

So I think it would be a nice move for all attendees to buy at least the section they will ride

They are not expensive

Also For buying, it's relevant that we wait for a bit. So like March. As the map routes change significantly.

Any one thinking of a West-East crossing with a meet up somewhere?

The TAT is not designed to make it backwards, too many areas will be impossible or foolishly dangerous to do it
