Hmm.. I'll ahve to look into the marrying people gig. I didn't see it in my D-90 Safety Officer handbook. Rausch works for me for camping. Planning on camping friday and saturday.

Same here, us New Englanders usually try to make it down for 9-10 am Friday, nothing like wheeling all day after driving all night. I figure we'll do about the same this time, right mike, jimmy?

Count me in for Friday wheeling!

Tyler, let's meet up on the way (were we split off last time) and convoy up.

Ken, ditch the girl. Plenty fish in the sea, and only a few trips to Rausch

Just saw this thread; I'd love to come, too.

Where do you New Englanders meet up?

Dave, do you go on rt. 6 and 384 to 84 through CT?

Dave

Hey Dave! We meet up in CT at a rest stop on 84, Dave S knows the exit number area right Dave? We are on 84 all the way through CT so pick a spot nd we will stop fuel up and meet up.

Tyler it is in the sub clause in section 9.2.1 titled when Ken won't come to Rausch.

Yeah Mike, last time we met at the rest stop on I-84 between southbound exits 70 & 69, Willington. I think it was about 2:00 am? I think you guys were early though, should we say 1:30?

Dave, I'm sort of northern Foster, so I get there by taking 101 out of RI to US 44, then I think SR 74 to SR 32 and I get on 84 south, and the Rest Stop is right there. That way we meet up before Hartford. I know that's north and therefore out of the the way for you though. So you could catch us later on 84, maybe after hartford.... Just name an exit, easy place to find, etc.

Cool. Ken has a date!

Follow-up Post:

I'm in for primitive camping at Rausch for Saturday night only.
If anyone who is travelling Thursday/Friday runs into trouble or needs a place to stay, I'm only 40 miles or so from Rausch.
Does that make me the Towing Officer or possibly the Maintenance Officer? Would that be a promotion from Handy Smurf?
410.227.2523

Follow-up Post:

We probably should give Lynn a heads up for about 50 vehicles that weekend.
Trevor Combs, Mike Widener, myself, Curran Johnson so far and I'm waiting to hear from two dozen others...

Follow-up Post:

Not really.

The rest stop is pretty close to me. I'm just a little south of UCONN so it's just as easy for me to get to that exit as another.

Well, with the powers vested in you by this board Tyler, you have the authority to impound his vehicle for misaligned priorities, and make him fetch it (and Zach) at the Rausch Creek impound lot.

I charge a modest fee for repo services..

Well, I really didnt want to reveal this little nugget of info about myself but it looks pretty serious here so I better step up...

Yes, its true, your evil webmaster is actually secretly ordained with the Universal Church of Life (Ca.). I am issuing a holy charter to anyone retarded enough to listen to what I have to say, and engage in a crusade, to abduct Ken bring him to Rausch. While your at it, you might as well grab any strippers you may encounter along your travels, and bring them along for good measure.
