LOL Randy, we already talked about another trip! We were thinking the thrid weekend in June Trevor did have Francis with him, and he just looked at the water comming in as he sat on the back seat. He's a very good Dog and Trevor just smiled from his seat in the muddy water.

For some reason I now have the smell of 90w comming and going as i drive. Yet I can't find any leaks!! Oh well. Did a little more damage to my "Stock" Rover sliders (read sills). Third weekend in June is the only weekend I can do it that month. Good times were had by all.

Oh and Tyler, thanks for the use of the Cool Jacket! I need to get one for spotting duties!

Oh scratch that, you need to do it at least twice to get the link to work!

salmons-leap.com resolves here !

Great weekend guys. thanks for all the spotting and of course the cooking guys! I'll get what few pics I took up soon.

BTW, I have a serious driveline vibration now. As soon as I wash the rig I'll pull the front driveshaft and see if thats the culprit - feels like it.

Other than that, no real damage other than a minor adjustment of the stock front bumper

Yeah, got a little dirty. I figured since Mike was out, then Jimmy was out for Saturday, someone had to do it... although I'm a child compared to those mud-masters!

Awesome trip. Sweet pictures Jimmy, thank Brenda for taking a lot of them. I can't wait til next time. And thanks for all the spotting, etc. Mike's a trooper to show up without a truck! Now I gotta go clean

I didn't notice at first, but would you believe that Trevor and Francis pulled Tyler out all by themselves? I guess he really is a 4WD dog!

Thanks again for inviting us along on Friday. Here are a few photos from the 'lift your front wheel' corner. Sorry I didn't get photos of everyone coming through that spot.

I'll end with Trevor trying to show the angle he needs for lift off!

Let me know if you make a trip in June. Hopefully we can come for the full weekend.

Wow, all of those pix were great!

There was a conversation between Francis and me before and during the visit to the chassis bath.
It went like this:
Francis: Hang-up and drive.
Master and Commander (me): Shut up.
F: Oh, this is not good.
MC: Shut up.
F: Ha! And you think I smell bad when I'm wet?
MC: Shut up.
F: I'm outta here, jackass.

I think the timeline for the Line-x project just got moved up. I've started to remove the interior permanently, need to fix some rust (how'd that happen?), and then decide on a color. They make a glow-in-the dark color which could be cool. Or annoying.

Sunday, we went out on Upper 6 which was great, and than we moved on to 5, near the old camp c. Great stuff, we'll have to make a point of going there early next time. The Jeep didn't break anything, but he did get hung up a couple of times. Wasim managed to grenade his rear diff. After recovering him, we decided to call it a day. HAd lunch in a sleety rain and onour way.

Thanks to everyone who organised the trip, the food, the great company, and made it a great time. Let's do it again soon!
