This thread is way off topic, I thought someone would be taking bets on weather my 90 makes it to RC or not.

Give us an update on where you stand, and I'll lay some food on the line...

Current bet - hes gonna make it, but have trouble on the drive down

Mike, check your e-mail for a forward from Lynn.

Follow-up Post:

I haven't replied to her as of yet in regards to how many Friday stragglers or Friday wheelers. If we can determine that info, I'll reply to her, or you can respond to her. Whatever is easiest....

I'll find out and reply to both of you. So far for sure it is Dave S with his 90 on a trailer, Jimmy, Brenda, and Sam with his 90 on a trailer, Dave H driving, Scott Driving and myself (either driving or riding along outlook is not so good right now). Both Dave and Scott have not been before.

Dave H and Scott need to go here
http://www.rauschcreekoffroadpark.org/members.asp
Fill out the application and bring it with ya so you can drop it off at the office as we pull in the gate.

FYI to everyone, there will be a group camping Thursday night, I don't want to drive down to camp and wake them all up with our trucks and setting up camp. I was thinking if we want to get down there and sleep maybe we can just pull in the gate and catch a few zzz's until day break then we set up camp when everyone is waking up. It's that or we don't leave until 11 or so at night and arive late enogh so we don't wake everyone up.

Sounds good to me. I can sleep under my spare surrey top on the ground. What time are we estimating that we'll be getting there Thursday night?

If we leave Mass around 4 or so and it's about 7 hour drive (including gas stops) we should get there around 11ish. That gives us a few hours sleep, I don't know if the other group will have hit the sack by then or not.

we could always walk down there and see too... 11:00 really isn't that late for 4WD campers they be awake having a nice fire and some libations. But of course I'm fine with staying up in the staging lot, etc.

Well after several tries at getting everything to bolt together I have kinda worked myself into a dead end. All I have to say is 97 parts don't mix with 94 parts, either one way or the other. So it looks like I'll be riding shotgun as camra man / winch bitch / spotter this time around. Come to think of it I am just saving myself the trouble of going down there, breaking something then dragging it back to fix it. I don't think I have once wheeled 2 days in a row at RC, we need to start going to Paragon, I have at least made it out of there alive.

Bummer Eric, next time.

After a killer couple of days this week, the weather's going downhill on us for Rausch. Not bad Friday, but 40% chance of rain Saturday and Sunday. Still lows in the low 30s Sat night.. hard to believe after this week, it's been beautiful in Southern New England.
