So... it's this weekend, registration is available onsite for $28, and where is the site? That's all I could get from the link and I might like to go. Can anybody provide more detailed information, like what the trails are like, what the competition is, WHERE it is, etc... ?

Oh and it starts at 9am sharp. I forgot that part.

Yup, just brought that up on the ROVERSclub forum!
The physical address is 101 E. Mountain Road, Robesonia, PA 19551 (near Reading)
The Trials is a friendly competition using natural terrain and gates (made of pvc tube) The gates are numbered in descending order starting with 10 and the object is to get through all of the gates with out touching them.
Lowest score wins!
A zero score is possible, usually with an 80" Series I, but it's still a good time.
The property is rocky, hilly with mature trees, but the course is laid out with challenges in mind, not carnage.
Pizza lunch, soft drinks, and a raffle- 50/50, Land Rover Kit, pictures of David Hasselhoff with KITT are also available.
Even if one doesn't want to compete, spectators are welcome! I'd recommend appropriate footwear for hiking, but the property is not so huge that it couldn't be walked comfortably.
As usual, thanks to Dave and Donna McMullen for hosting the event on their property and to Lyle for making the course generous enough to fit a LWB!

Hope this helps answer a few questions! There are some very good threads and descriptions from previous events on the ROVERSclub forums, if you search in Events.

Sorry I'm going to miss the Spring event this year!
Roverlab is now British 4x4 Specialists.
Email is
Same place, new dog.

Very interesting property..... wish I had my new tires!
If you go on forum to the event section click on the thread for the Robesonia event this past fall.... I believe on the 4th or 5th page you will find a post with 500 pics, check it out.
