Rovers on the rocks was a perfect example of everything that makes the Land Rover community great.
From the start of the event everyone helped each other set up their camps in the freezing temperatures. All the way to the end this group went above and beyond to help each other out and make new members feel welcome.
But the prime example was everybody even the kids doing what they could and working as an elaborate team to help save Ed's flooded truck.
This next part I don't think I will ever forget. It was getting dark and everybody was getting cold. I needed a 10 mm socket on a quarter inch drive we were all scrambling to find one and out of the dark a young man about 10 years old hands me the the exact socket and ratchet needed for the job. Our Land Rover community is a special place and I am thankful to be part of it.

Sorry I missed it.

Snookie didn't do any major damage here in the area... But screwed up the schedule and I had to bail last minute. Had to re-schedule a b-day.

Thanks to Wolf and Justin for getting my Series parts.

Kelvin's - BigKel on here, or Fernando's. Kelvin (dark green RRC), Ram (green D2), and Fernando (grey RRC w/ Boosts) work here at Land Rover Manhattan. Kelvin's and Fernando's RRCs are awesome.

Also, I just want to note that I think that last photo of Chris on the highway was taken BEFORE he went and power-washed it.

Thanks for taking the pics and video Josh! It's very cool to see my own truck in action.

WOW! I get this from a guy that only wheeled his truck a 1/2 day on green trails...and spent the other 1/2 day riding shotgun on blue and black trails in someone elses truck!...

Haha, it was just funny because your truck already looked spotless to me.

Hey! You wanted a navigator, I didn't want to put the top back on my truck, and I wanted to see what your truck was like! I had fun on all of the trails we did this year, even though I didn't get stuck or anything.

No worries Josh. It's all in good fun.

While Mud was avoided, the rocks were not... 2012 ROTH is where my truck acquired it's first taste of wheeler character.

In fact, I am a little thankfull that I got away with only a little wheel rash! It could have ended much worse. Damn that bolder at the top of the J shoot into the west area valley.

I will admit that used to think the P38s were the ugliest RRs, but they have grown on me, especially seeing Justin's on the trail. That 4.6 is a plus.
Sorry meant take the toll road to the beltway. Yes it's a round about way but no 95 crap

Problem for me is that I'd have to take 28 north to 267. The 28 north is a nightmare in the morning. That route is just as bad.

If you are going to Hazelton from Quantico, why would you ever even touch I-95?

Hazelton??? I had to pick up a buddy in Rockville on my way up to RC.

I normally take 15 all the way up to Harrisburg.

Hazelton, Pine Grove, Frackville, they're all a blur. I used to go up that way almost monthly when the outlaws lived in Wilkes-Barre. If you look carefully you can see the groove I wore in US 15. I was even brave enough to take the 2A up there a few times. The big hill there from Pine Grove to Tower City would slow it down to like 15-20 MPH.
