Here's a link to little video I did for my buddy and his son. Not exciting, but was just playing around with the GoPro.

You can actually see Justin's disappointment as I hit that cone. It still stings for me!

Worse yet, all but one has to wait an entire year for the chance to redeem ourselves.

Great event Justin! Thank you for organizing.

Looking forward to participating in more events in 2013.

A big thanks to Mike Widner and Joel and Jennifer Mercer for setting up the toy collection for Mike VanCurens daughter Maddy.

She was thrilled. Between the Rover crowd and the local club, HRC, that truck got filled up!

Never did get it started, it sounded like it wanted to but no joy. Someone did him a serious solid though and used up their free 200 mile AAA tow to get him home. It will run again I'm sure but it will never be right after the time and amount of water that thing took on.

Dana, won the event. I did horrible in Justin's P38, I have to admit that thing is pretty damn impressive off road. Never thought I would say that about a P38 though I might have to get terrafirma to replace my stock suspension eventually.

It was great meeting everyone, and it was a awesome event. I felt like such a poser with my 110 sitting out everything for the weekend. I just couldn't risk running the trails in a 110 I wasn't familiar with and no armor whatsoever. It would have been a long walk home with a very cold reception from the wife lol. As it is she likes the 110 and thinks it is very cool.

I now know what you guys mean about people giving thumbs up on the road coming up to talk to you at gas stations etc. Had a hot college coed hanging out the window of her friends car waving and giving me a thumbs up.. Boy was she cold Got pulled over twice on the way home, the cops didn't notice the temp tag at first and then spent 10 minutes with the one talking about landies.

Absolutely a great weekend it was a blast hanging out with ya'll.

Oh and thanks to DiscoSux for giving me a hand putting on my Terrafirma winch bumper

I will admit that used to think the P38s were the ugliest RRs, but they have grown on me, especially seeing Justin's on the trail. That 4.6 is a plus.

I rode around on saturday a couple times with Justin in that P38 and it kept surprising me with how capable it is. I still can't believe the shocks didn't explode coming down power line at 25 mph...

Apparently he decided to part it out, so "as is" it probably never run again. He says he is not getting spark.

Can't say I blame him, he would have spent the rest of his days chasing gremlins in that thing.

Cool! You we'd need at least 4 cameras right? The result is good (of course you probably had one and kept moving it?)

Nope! One camera. Drive, stop, move it, do it again.

Did you do the challenge this year? I wasn't watching it the whole time (missed Dana's winning run, too) if so, and missed it.
