RC definitely is not all about carnage, there are plenty of green trails that you can handle with a 2wd vehicle without scratching anything... greens and low blues are fine... i've lead dozens of trucks through them without any damage.. its the black/reds that have the potential for damage.

Cool, I guess I always heard RC=bent panels, but after looking at the website I see that it is not. I am waiting on clearance from the boss (wife).

I have only bent a panel at RC once after going there a dozen or so times... it was on a black trail, it was raining, and I slipped off of a rock into a tree...

I am still on the fence about attending this. When are you guys from VA and MD heading up? Can I join you all in a convoy if I go? I have spare parts I can bring Jonathan in case you break something.

if you do break something AAA knows the way to Trevor's shop and depending on the guy that comes to get the truck he's be willing to take you down to leesburg for free.

I actually may be able to make it now for Saturday... if I do go, i'll probably be running low blue trails as it's the first time my Disco has seen a trial in almost a year due to a tranny swap & engine rebuild... gotta re-break it in.

It's on my radar but I will have been away wheeling for 4 days 2 weeks before. I'm not sure if i can get another liberty pass from the Chief Child Rearing Officer.

I'm out... Wife wants my son's birthday party the same weekend as this trip. Probably for the best anyways since my truck is leaking coolant again and I have no idea where the leak is.

Ha, ha, ha.... The whole under side of the truck is one big leak.. To bad the coolent is dripping on the driver side exhaust and burning up before it hits the ground.. I just can't tell where the leak starts.. Was fixed for a while when the intake gasket was done but, leaking again from some where..

Eric, I know it's not convienent to get here, but I do support my repairs! If there is an issue, lets get it looked at sooner than later. Anybody local to you that could pressurise the cooling system and do some diagnosis?

Hello Trevor,

I'll poke around some more later this week when it's not raining and make sure all the bolts are torqued down. Did that a while ago and they were. But, you never know. I'll shoot you an email or PM so this Rauch thread doesn't get side tracked. I know there are shops around here that can do it but, if I'm going to pay them to do it I might as well come up and pay you. I think it's just my truck finally giving me the middle finger for neglecting it in the driveway for so long.
