Thanks Trevor and Justin for a great event! I'll be looking forward to the next one. Very nice to meet everyone. I'll post Picts later today, not many but some nice ones.

This is only my 2nd time to RC, the other being a Friday when no one was there. Can someone explain to me why Jeepers trailer in Jeeps on 33" tires? I saw maybe 2 Jeeps come in driving and 20+ on trailers? Not built up trucks but rather stock looking Jeeps...

If you drive 3+ hours to go wheeling and you break, it sucks and can cost a lot. So if you can trailer it, it's great insurance and a more comfy ride there and back.

That was by far the most fun I have had wheeling in a long time. It was nice to see old and new faces as well.

Thanks to Justin and Trevor

Judging by a lot of them though, they looked like they were put together with bubble gum and prayers. Theres something to be said about redneck engineering. Some also werent plated. I have a buddy who is building a Jeep that has NO chance of being street legal so a trailer will be his only option. I like the 3+ hour drive and needing it to get me home. Keeps my mind straight and a mental check going.

Pics

Most of these are of Jonathan going through a nice rock pile.
There was a sequence I missed of him roaring up a hill after that pile which was awesome.

Here's a link to a second compilation of RC wheeling videos from this past weekend:

Thank you to everyone for making this event a success. It is always good to get together with old friends like Dana and Jill who took the Bull or should I say Goat by the horns to help get the rock challenge going, Or new friends like Dave Schramm who was there to help shine some light so we could load the trailer. Things like that make being part of the Land Rover community a true pleasure. Again thank you to everyone that was there lending a hand, tool or a good joke.
