You would think the organizers would have known that?

I know we spent some time talking to various clubs and used that info, and the reason we started advertising in October. LOL, you oughta see all the communication going on in regards to 2008. Should have the dates for that set in a couple months hopefully.

I meant of course the organizers of the Roverfest. The Solihull Rally is the best organized event in the country, I went in 2005 and will be back for 2007!

With no offense meant to anyone, I have my doubts about this event going off. It is only 6 mos. away and no details yet, the organizers have not updated their website in almost a year, and after being announced EVERYWHERE, they have been silent. Big events take a LOT of organizing. I cetainly hope it does happen and that people have a good time, but I am heading west to the National Rally.

Well I hope you're wrong because I've heard great things about the Roverfests of the past. But they do seem to have disappeared

Oh, you are SUCH a naysayer.

Nancy Negative they should call you. Besides, you'll be elsewhere... in a polyester suit.

I am on the fence. Definite possibility. Depends if we pull the trigger on a move soon. If not, I'm in. Bob and I discussed trailering.

Bob mentioned buying a 3 truck wedge, I'll give him money towards it if he gets serious.

RoverFest is on. We've had some delays in putting together the meal situation and while it's not totally complete we'll add details later. And since Killington's been sold we need to change the waiver information etc. I'll have additional material up within the week.

One reason we think this will be a great event is that the Jeep Jamboree is having an event at Killington in June and have developed new trails that we will be able to use. The previous event in 2001 did not have as great trail choice whereas this year's event will.
Please email pat@roverfest.com with any questions.
