Rover Rendezvous 6

Who's going and what trails are you running?
As of now I'm signed up for Isham Canyon on Saturday and Inyo Crest on Sunday.

Inyo Crest on Saturday and Lookout City on Sunday, at least for now. Inyo Crest may be interesting this year if we get much more snow between now and the event. It will still be a fun run even if we cant make it to the crest. There are a tone of fun trails on the north side of the Inyo Crest that range from mild to wild. Should be a fun trail.

Isham should be fun. I'm hearing front and rear lockers almost a must for that run. Sounds like a good time.

So Kevin... you going to join us at Isham? I know you like to drive your truck like it's a 90.

No way. Not until I get lockers in it but that is a ways off. I just picked up Doug Walkers old 3.9 and will be rebuilding that before I get lockers in. I'll be taking it easy this trip. Does Aaron still have his Series truck?

He sold it to a friend of ours in NYC, I don't think it likes being in the city. As soon as it got there it refused to start and has all sorts of electrical issues. It basically needs to have all the electric redone.

Didn't know you were looking for an engine. I still have my old 4.0... oh well, next time.

I'll be there, but not on Isham. Looking forward to seeing you all again this year.

Dave, i did the install of the suspension last sunday. Thanks for the hookup.

When are you guys heading up on friday? I was thinking of going Thursday afternoon/evening or early Friday morning.

Read congrats on passing your Element 2 test.
Glad the suspension worked out. How does it sit with the new suspension?

I'll caravan it up with you, my schedule is flexable. We should see about hooking up with the rest of the EE guys, this way we can all make good use of our new ham radios.

I sits real nice. but now i need a set of 255's to fill in the gap. I know Craig is out. he's got a bad head gasket and the shop cant fit him in for the repair in time. He's going to transfer over his reservation to me sense i have not gotten around to doing it yet. can't wait to see your truck. John said it's massive.

I thought if i went up real early, I could get a nice camping spot under the trees. I wont have a kick-ass radio yet but, i have a TK-840 in the truck right now. I'll be sure to bring a list of freq. & pl tones (440 band) it is programed for.
