That does look nice. There must be a story here. Tow truck and ambulance?

Nice photo Bang. There is the action shot for Uncle Doug. And yes, winch has wound its last I fear.

Now... If I just knew someone who had a winch that I could buy... Something in the Warn 9000 department. Sigh, I guess I will be forced to rebuild the one I have.

Hmmm...I might know of just such a winch...or wench if you prefer..

Also, I put diff guards on the Tdi this afternoon so I can follow you through the rocks next time.
I recycled this from an old axle..
That is vintage MAR 2004 mud caked inside that guard.

By the way guys and gals, don't cheap out and stay 30 miles away at some fleabag motel in C'ville.'
Wintergreen gives us a break on room rates to encourage us to stay there and we want them to see us in a positive light.
So rent a room in the lodge, have a few drinks at the restaurant, and tip your waitress...ski season is over and they could use the bidness.

Posing at the turn-a-round spot, my Tdi is now rated for black diamond slopes.

The elevation change on that trail is amazing! Especially when we were walking up and down carrying a chain saw! The photos don't really do it justice.

Should be plenty of seats available mate. My front should be open as mumma will be hanging at spas I suspect. If not there will be others.

Great! We still need to get lunch next time I'm in Buckhead.

Jonesy, tell mumma to book her Spa treats early. Things book up quickly some weekends.

ATTN: all last minute folks. We have placed the t-shirt order already. If you have not already registered, you missed the early registration free t-shirt. We are making print orders for trail maps and welcome packets today. It would be great if we gathered in the last minute registrations from the procrastinators so we can make sure we have enough.

Weather looks like light rain off and on all week with a beautiful weekend.
