Clay - uhh it was parked outside with only one fender still - Trevor says parts will arrive on Thursday, now.

I was in garage fixing garage door opener that grenaded back in January.

Chuck / Clay - this late breaking snow is causing me all kinds of wardrobe and fashion confusion. What to wear .....??

A wetsuit and life jacket might be in order. They picked up over 2 1/2 inchs of water in the last 24 hrs.

Repost from the ROAV forum:

Hello Everyone,

A quick update on the event.

With one week to go, we have approximately 40 vehicles and about 80 people registered to attend. We are estimating a large crowd for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights.

We have excellent sponsorship support -

LR Richmond
Atlantic British
Rover Guy/Will Tillery
Lucky 8
GBR
RTE
Rovers North

We have a 1/2 dozen boxes full of gear and give aways thru our raffle during the dinners each night. Many very nice gift certificates, accessories and bling - thanks to all of our sponsors!

If you have not yet registered for the event, please do so! All members are invited!

And for those of you who have registered, please take a moment to confirm that you have reserved meal tickets for your guests on Friday and Saturday, and any extra T's.

Thanks to Mike Boggs for his hard work and guidance establishing one of the finest trail networks on the East Coast. Well done!

Please join us for a weekend among friends!
I look forward to seeing everyone there!

I hope all is well.

Forge On,

Bob

Hey Keith, it would probably be best to post that question up on the ROAV site.

Got to the top of the mountain in time to watch sunset. Then Rolled down and had dinner and the 14 flavor sampler + a couple pints @ Devils Backbone Brewery.

A few more, after my tippy time...

Winch got a good workout today, including a double extension, double shackle pull. More when I get my camera home.

A shameless addition from L8's Facebook...Justin was right, it felt a lot worse than it looked (& the downhill side would have been unpleasant.)

Great pictures. Looks like it was a fun time. One of these days I need to come back there for an east coast event.

I was 50ft straight down hill and it looked pretty close from my side.

With this big wet snow falling heavily I now regret my decision to not stay up on the mountain last night and run Shoe Creek Trail today....

Interesting, we got off the mtn about 11-no precip. Grabbed some breakfast and came back to Cville and not seeing anything yet. Maybe if I wait long enough I can prevent myself from going back to NoVA.

Was definitely a decent event given the venue. More trails opening as it matures + smaller groups on those trails and I think you've got a great place for this time of year. Was certainly odd staying at a Lodge vice being in a field.

Ray, Mike has more in store. Last weekend we worked on a trail I do not think my old RRC could have done without multiple winch pulls. I am hoping this can become a recurring thing, sad I could not be there.

We had about six trucks on Shoe Creek this morning. Started with Hickmans sausage biscuits and honey buns and ended with a hunt for Brunswick stew in Montebello. Overall a great event. Felt more like the old ROAV days.
