How did your motor do?

Haha, no beagles were injured that I am aware of.

Motor did well, smoky at times after engine braking down the trail. Piston Rings on the menu this winter. Still had 3/4 of a tank after getting back to the house Sunday, impressed. Probably running more on oil then diesel

More Photos

I do want to take a second to say thank you back to everyone that participated. The ROAV club enjoys unbelievable support from this community - both the club members and the club sponsors.

Special thanks goes out to Peter Cosmides for gifting a Bloody Knuckles badge to the club for a fund raising auction.... and the special thanks goes out to Jason England (leastonce) for making a generous winning bid for the badge... and finally double thanks to Jason as he donated it back to the ROAV club as the foundation for the "Best / Worst Trail Fix" award to be given at each event.

The winner this year has to go to Jason Lavender for breaking his differential and then hitting the trails for a second day in 2-wheel drive. Larry Michelon gets an honorable mention for replacing a CV joint in the field and there were other strong contenders. Everyone else now has something to strive for at the MAR.

I did not get many photos but here are the last of mine that have not been posted.

I have love for my Series brothers. Good to see a bunch of you out this time.
There is a photo of a group trying to lean the CMDSGT out of some trees. Another group photo is led by Jason England fixing a blown fuel injector fuse and burnt wires. There is also a photo of some of the regulars doing some back porch drinking and a photo I took up on the Blue Ridge Parkway heading out on Sunday afternoon - man you just can not say enough about how great the weather was.

Sarek watches as NAS 110 takes a steep turn down "Rock Slide"

Hill is so steep reverse is not possible and turn is too tight for the 110 so he had to winch himself around the turn.

Great time, incredible support from friends (old and new), a wonderful venue, and challenging trails. I'll definitely be back for more next year!

Thanks for the cool action pics Jeff!
